“National Workshop on Strategic IP Management for Agriculture”, is to be conducted by us from 25-27 April 2013 in Hyderabad. NAARM is the Institutional Partner and SEEDSMEN Association –AP is our Associate Partner for the initiative.
As you must be very well aware of the fact that Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is a non-government, not-for-profit, industry led and industry managed organization, playing a proactive role in India's development process. Founded over 116 years ago, it is India's premier business association, with a direct membership of over 8500 organizations from the private as well as public sectors, including SMEs and MNCs, and an indirect membership of over 90,000 companies from around 400 national and regional sectoral associations. CII works to create and sustain an environment conducive to the growth of industry in India, partnering industry and government alike through advisory and consultative processes.
Andhra Pradesh Technology Development & Promotion Centre (APTDC) is an organization promoted by the Government and CII as a one-stop shop for providing services to industry in technology and Intellectual Property Rights by networking with global experts to fuel knowledge driven the industrial growth.
CII-APTDC, as its ongoing initiative of building strong IP ecosystem in India through capacity building of Industry in IPR, is organising this workshop on IP Management for the Agri. sector. The earlier conferences had widespread participation from all sectors, from India and abroad for last 5-6 years India.
