Indian Seed Congress - 2010, Bengaluru:

On February 12-13, 2010, the National Seed Association of India (NSAI) will host, along with other international players, its first ever Indian Seed Congress at Bangalore, also known as Bengaluru, in the State of Karnataka. The Indian Seed Congress 2010 has been planned to bring together foreign and Indian companies, Government officials and representatives of the NSAI on a common platform and discuss, in a transparent and forthright manner, issues confronting the seed sector including new technological developments and participate in a richly rewarding trading opportunity. The Congress will consist of subject-specific seminars resulting in concrete recommendations and excellent trading facilities, where, not only the products will be exhibited, but an ambience conducive to finalization of deals would be created. The upshot of the deliberations in the seminars would be processed with the government agencies at home and abroad through appropriate channels. The participating companies from abroad will have a unique opportunity to get a first hand exposure to the diversity of Indian seed market, technologically superior seed quality and the inherent strength of the Indian seed industry. Enhanced trade in superior seeds would be the flavour of the Congress. Field visits to the facilities in and around Bangalore have also been planned so that the participants can get fully acquainted with some of the companies. Indian Seed Congress 2010 is expected to attract 600 participants including business executives, academicians, scientists, government officials and all those involved in the global seed industry. Everyone is eagerly awaiting the next step of NSAI as it takes the Indian seed industry to global level. Save the date!
